Caldo de peixe

Ingredients

  • Whole fish, 1 kg, cleaned
  • Red palm oil, 3 tbsp
  • Onion, tomato, garlic
  • Lime, 2
  • Okra, optional
  • Chilli and salt

Method

  1. 01

    Rub the fish with lime and salt, and leave it while you prepare the rest.

  2. 02

    Sweat onion, tomato and garlic in the palm oil.

  3. 03

    Add water and bring to a gentle boil.

  4. 04

    Slide the fish in whole and do not stir — turn the pot, not the fish.

  5. 05

    Finish with lime juice off the heat.
