Diaobé

One of the largest weekly markets in West Africa. Traders arrive from four countries before dawn.

Six days a week Diaobé is a quiet roadside town. On the seventh it becomes one of the biggest markets in the sub-region: trucks from Guinea, Mali and The Gambia unload in the dark, and by mid-morning you can buy anything from a live goat to a phone charger.
